Outdoor Photographer of the Year Competition
Since its launch in 2000, Outdoor Photography magazine has led the way in featuring the work of the best nature and landscape photographers, and now we are looking to honour those who go beyond the normal limits in creating striking outdoor imagery.
The winners of each category will go forward to the final selection for the prestigious overall title. We haven’t forgotten young talent either, with our under 18 category, which will reward the most promising new photographers in the field.
The categories and the overall award will be judged by leading figures in the outdoor photography world. The stakes are high, the competition will be tough…and in January 2011, someone will be crowned the Outdoor Photographer of the Year.
Eligibility: Amateur, student and professional photographers, resident in the UK or abroad, of any age, are eligible to enter.
Prizes: There are over £4500 worth of great prizes up for grabs!
Entry Fee: £5 fee for entry into each category of the Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2010.
Copyright: By entering this Competition the entrant grants permission to the Promoter and sponsors and their associated group companies to reproduce the entrants photos in any media (including without limitation on the OPOTY Website or in the Outdoor Photography Magazine) whether or not the image is selected as a winning entry of any of the categories.
The closing date for entries is midnight on Thursday, 30th September 2010.
